Welcome to Yeti Trails, the adventure-focused division of Yeti Travels Pvt. Ltd. By booking or participating in any of our treks, tours, or adventure activities, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking and Payment
- All bookings must be confirmed via our official website or authorized representatives.
- Full payment or a required deposit must be made at the time of booking to secure your trip.
- Payment can be made in USD or NPR through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or as specified by Yeti Trails.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice; confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed price.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be communicated in writing.
- Refunds are provided based on the notice period:
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus a processing fee.
- 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
- Yeti Trails reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trips due to adverse weather, natural disasters, political unrest, or other safety concerns. In such cases, clients may receive a full refund or alternative dates.
3. Health and Safety
- All participants must ensure they are medically fit for the selected activity. A doctor’s consultation is recommended for challenging treks.
- Participants are responsible for carrying personal medical supplies, including prescription medications.
- Guides provided by Yeti Trails are certified and trained in first aid and emergency response.
- Adventure activities inherently carry risks. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow guide instructions at all times.
4. Trekking Permits and Legal Requirements
- A registered local guide is mandatory for all trekking routes, and permits will only be issued in compliance with Nepalese law.
- Restricted area permits require an original passport copy with a valid Nepal entry visa.
- Yeti Trails provides permit-only services to independent trekkers, ensuring legal and smooth access to national parks, conservation areas, and restricted regions.
- Clients must allow 2–3 working days for processing trekking permits.
5. Travel Insurance
- All participants are strongly advised to secure comprehensive travel insurance covering accidents, medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and evacuation.
- Yeti Trails is not liable for medical expenses, loss, or damage incurred during the trip.
6. Accommodation and Meals
- Accommodation is provided as per the selected package, including hotels, lodges, or tea houses.
- Meals included in the package will follow the stated itinerary. Special dietary requests should be communicated in advance but may not be guaranteed.
7. Conduct and Liability
- Participants must act responsibly and respect local cultures, customs, and the environment.
- Damage to property, wildlife, or local communities caused by a participant will be the participant’s responsibility.
- Yeti Trails is not responsible for personal items lost or damaged during the trip.
8. Photography and Media
- Yeti Trails may take photographs or videos during activities for promotional purposes.
- By participating, you grant Yeti Trails the right to use these images and recordings without compensation.
9. Force Majeure
Yeti Trails is not liable for delays, cancellations, or additional costs caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or political instability.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Nepalese courts.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or participating in any Yeti Trails activity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
